Carthage, May 25, 2010 - President Zine el Abidine Ben Ali received, on Tuesday as he met with Minister of Communication Technologies Mohamed Naceur Ammar, a report on the sector's activities and progress of its programmes.
The President of the Republic recommended to make the most of the new competitive climate in the communications field after the coming into operation of the third third-generation fixed and mobile telephone services operator to further improve quality of services in this sector for the benefit of both citizens and enterprises.
The Head of State emphasised, in this regard, the important position "Tunisie Telecom" holds as an active enterprise in the communication technologies area to contribute to materialise the chapter of the presidential programme for the next five-year period in this vital sector.
